Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

All are architects of fate living in these walls of time.


Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) was an American educator and Poet whose works included "Paul Revere's Ride," "The Song of Hiawatha," and "Evangeline." Longfellow was the first American to translate Dante's "The Divine Comedy" and was one of the five members of the group known as the Fireside Poets.
