Lewis Carroll

"There is no use in trying," said Alice. "One can't believe impossible things."
"Why I dare say you have not had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age I always did it for half an hour everyday. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

Lewis Carroll, the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898), was an English author, mathematician, and photographer who gained a international reputation for his fantastic logic, fantasy, and word play. His most known works include Alice in Wonderland and it's sequel, Through The Looking Glass, the work this quote originates from.
